Rockford FC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit soccer club in Rockford, Illinois, sends text messages to parents, guardians and players who agree to get them. These terms cover those texts.
What we send
About your registration and your team, if you tick that box:
- Reminders of steps left to finish registering, such as waivers, a league ID or joining the team app.
- Reminders about season dues, including when they are due or overdue.
- Schedules, and changes to them.
Only if you tick the separate box for them: club news and offers, such as match tickets and club events.
And a one-time sign-in code, only when you ask for one on this site.
The club's texts come from (815) 283-6330 and are sent by an automated system (an autodialer). Sign-in codes come from a separate number.
How you agree
By ticking the box for texts about your registration and team when you register or pre-register for a tryout, or later from your checklist or account page, or by texting START to (815) 283-6330. Club news and offers are a separate box on top of that. Neither is required: agreeing to texts is never a condition of registering, or of any purchase.
How often, and the cost
Message frequency varies with the season, typically a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any text to stop them. You will get one text confirming it, and no more after that. To start again, text START to (815) 283-6330. Reply HELP for help, or reach us through the club's contact form.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
